“Spring” by Brigette Russell

by Brigette Russell ’26

With the trees green and the leaves blooming,
spring is in the air
The sun coming up rising way above the horizon
while kids sprawling across campus
Who wouldn’t love spring?
Who wouldn’t love seeing blades of green after months and months of snow and rain?
The chirp of the birds, above in the trees
The gentle blow of wind, kissing your cheeks
Lay down, and take a moment
For Spring
