“Roam” by Mathieu Champagne

I saw you roaming the streets, cold and afraid. Acts of a horrendous past
standing in your footsteps, will you walk alone? Promises made to be
broken, love meant to be lost, how can you recover? You Sir! Will you help
my sorrowful friend? They look at the flashy cars and vast buildings but
look past mournful souls. You walk further, now in a desolate land full
of new faces. These faces emit a light far surpassing those of old. This light,
which pulls the attention back to the past of an America of love. What
difference can be found between these places of new? Togetherness.
